Why we exist

A tradesperson rarely loses a job because they are bad at their craft. They lose it because the phone rang while their hands were inside a pipe box, and the customer moved on to the next name on the list. Meanwhile a proper website costs either several thousand kroner at an agency or a lost weekend in front of a site builder asking about colour palettes and domain records.

Balermo answers both. You pick your trade, type your company registration number, and the site builds itself with a headline, your services and a bookable slot. Customers can book without calling, and the enquiries that do come in land in one place instead of being scattered across text messages, voicemail and notes on the dashboard of the van.

What you get

• A website with your company name, your services and your area, pulled from the Danish business register and corrected by you.
• Booking, so customers pick a time in your calendar instead of calling in vain.
• An enquiry quiz that asks what the job is, how big it is and how urgent it is, so you know before you call back.
• An inbox where bookings, enquiries and your own notes on customer contact sit together.
• A customer register with notes and follow-ups, so you remember what you agreed last time.
• Time tracking per job with a timer you start and stop, and a weekly overview you can export as CSV.

How we are put together

Balermo is a small, independent Danish service. There are no investors behind it demanding growth every quarter, and we do not make a living selling ads or customer data. That is a deliberate choice, and it shows up in three ways:

• Free to start. No lock-in and no credit card to build your site and get going.
• No tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel and no other tracker on these pages. That is also why you never see a cookie banner: there is exactly one strictly necessary cookie, and it keeps you signed in.
• Your data is yours. Your customers are your customers. We process them solely to deliver the service to you, and we do not resell them. It is written down in our data processing agreement.

Where it runs

Balermo runs on Danish hosting, and both the database and the files sit inside the EU/EEA. The connection is encrypted with HTTPS. Which suppliers we use, and what each of them gets to see, is set out in the privacy policy.
